The catch meter and calming snacks

Skill decides the catch. No dice.
1

The catch line by rarity

Meter points needed: Common 40, Uncommon 55, Rare 65, Epic 75, Legendary 85.
2

How the meter fills

Win the Nom-off and the meter fills from 0 to 100: mostly from how many bites you land on time, plus your best streak. Play well and you’ll often pass the line on the first win.
3

Calming snacks

Snacks lower the line by up to 30 (never below 10), and they’re only used when they help you catch. You earn them by visiting places, checking deals and daily quests, and sometimes a gold melon after a win (10% of wins). Your pouch holds 30. Snacks are never sold.
4

"Nearly!"

Short of the line? Your meter is kept and nothing is used up. Win again (today if you have tries left) and it adds to your meter. If you run out of tries, 100% of it waits for you tomorrow, same Nomling.
